what's going on?

I know I haven't been on much lately..I had a sinus cold...I hate those!

Let me just say that this week has been beautiful here. We were up to 75 the other day.....NOW IT IS SNOWING! I mean we have 7 inches on the ground..with 4 more coming! Then tomorrow the high is supposed to be 55....WTF?!

Someone sent me a "Living Will" the other day in an email..I wanted to share it with you guys....


I, _________________________ (fill in the blank), being of sound mind and body, DO NOT wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means.
Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of peckerhead politicians who couldn't pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it.
If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to sit up and ask for a scotch, it should be presumed that I won't do so ever again. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my spouse, children and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes and call it a day.
Under no circumstances shall the members of the Legislature enact a special law to keep me on life-support machinery. It is my wish that these assholes mind their own damn business, and pay attention instead to the health, education and future of the millions of Americans who AREN'T in a permanent coma and who nonetheless may be in need of nourishment.

Under no circumstances shall any politicians butt into this case. I don't care how many fundamentalist votes they're trying to scrounge for their run for the presidency in 2008, it is my wish that they play politics with someone else's life and leave me alone to die in peace.

I couldn't care less if a hundred religious zealots send e-mails to legislators in which they pretend to care about me. I don't know these people, and I certainly haven't authorized them to preach and/or crusade on my behalf. They should mind their own damn business, too.
If any of my family goes against my wishes and turns my case into a political cause, I hereby promise to come back from the grave and make his or her existence a living hell.


LOL..I thought it was funny...and true!

I have been obsessing about the Pope...I am not a Catholic, so I have no idea why. So..of course he dies when I am at the mall..I wanted to be watching when they announced it. The other day our local paper ran an article about him being sick. They showed a picture of him from the day when he tried to speak and couldn't. It was a horrible one and it really upset me. I mean..they had to know the poor guy looked like crap..why would they put that in there? I knew he wasnt going to make it that day..he DID look horrible...poor guy.

Well..I am going to see Green Day..I told you all that..Now it looks like I am going to see Good Charlotte and Simple Plan too. My daughter is OBSESSED with Simple Plan. What can I say? I was the same age she is now when I became obsessed with Def Leppard. I wish someone would have taken me to see them when I was 13. I had to wait until I was 18 and it was the Hysteria tour. Oh well..I have more than made up for it now...LOL!

Well..I am going to go and shovel the front sidewalk....My hubby is out plowing. He won't be home for hours..:) There was one of those huge State plow trucks in the ditch up the street from me...the roads are horrible!
