Pittsburgh

Well, here is my review of the Pittsburgh show...nearly 3 months after the fact...heehee!

Anna and I went down the day before the show to meet up with a Yvette and her cousin. So, we turn the corner to where THE hotel is and we see Phil walking across the street and the busses were front and center. So, we check in and we decide we need to take a walk. We got lost and accidentally re-found the hotel...so we were sweating and thirsty so we sat in the lobby drinking a cold water. So, I am facing the elevator area and this guy gets off and he was shaking his butt and walking all girlie and he had THE GAYEST hat on and as a joke I say..Hey Anna..there is Sav. So she turns around and he was walking to the front desk and when he was done he turned around and it WAS Sav we started laughing so hard I thought I would pee my pants right there. He looked at us and laughed too...it was funny! So we went up to our room then..as the elevator doors shut...Wolfie gets on. So he gets off on our floor..and we are following him down the hall...he had a room right next to ours..I thought great he is going to think we are following him...

SOO...eventually Yvette shows up and we go meet her in her room and we make plans for the bar that night. We went outside of the hotel for something and we saw Rick Allen and he came over and talked to us for awhile. He was a little mad about not being able to get a cab to take him where he needed to go. Then we end up in the bar and Julie comes from her hotel and meets us and we noticed Joe and some crew guys were all in there. Joe left about 11 and Malvin came down and was talking to some girl at the bar and we bought him a drink and he came over and sat with us for the rest of the night. He was funny as hell and he gave us all a lesson on Irish beer and whiskee..or however he spelled it. I had him sign smething I had of his and he wrote..."To Connie, I bet you kiss real good. Love Malvin XOXO" He almost got me divorced over that...

So...the next night was the show and we went over early to meet at the Hard Rock. My friend Cheryl was there at around 2 I guess. Then all of us started trickling in. There was Me, Anna, Cheryl, Yvette,Jackie, Julie, Laura, Sandy (from the Disco Palace fame), Sandy P., Matt (her boyfriend), Suzanne, Kerri,Michael, Michael's friend. I think that is it. We had a really great time.

So we go over to the tent/venue Chevy Ampitheater ( however you spell it) and get in line to get in. Got in and I spent a ton on shirts,programs and all the stuff. Then we went down front to our seats...Front row...in front of Vivvy.

Tesla was awesome and the singer looks like my sister..no kidding.

Then..out came DL and I think we all crapped our pants! They were awesome! But let me tell you..the screen and everything rocked! Foolin' with all the old pics was great. Rock On is the best song I have ever seen Joe sing...his voice...I literally thought I was going to have to be mopped up..haha! They sang "Have you Ever Needed Someone So Bad" and I think...just think that Malvin listened to us the nighjt before in the bar when we said we wanted to hear it. LOL! He had told us they were cutting it!

After the show..I had backstage passes...so I went there of course and I met JOE! FOR REAL!! AHEM...cough cough...LOL! He gave me a hug and I think I may have blacked out....it was unreal and I had another of my Ricky Warwick "I love you" moments..haha!

Apparently outside....everyone else met Phil and Viv. There was some bonding amongst my other friends...how nice! There was urination in the street.....there was lying...and fun was had by everyone!

I really had a great time there...met a couple Tesla guys..and made some new friends.

Thanks to everyone that was there. We should do Pittsburgh every tour!
