I went to the Canfeld Fair tonight. Sounds fun huh? It was like I was in Redneck-utopia. Tonights main attraction in the Grandstands was....Tractor Pulls. Yes...tractor pulls. I could hardly stand it. We got ourselves 2 elephant ears and I had a piece of nasty nasty pizza. The fair is mainly about how much you can stuff into your mouth without puking later. I feel pretty sick righjt about now...and I didn't eat the elephant ear..it was my son and hubby. We saw ducks...yes I even saw other ducks like the one seen on this very blog.....we saw bunnies and ponies and cows and huge piles of POOP!
On to other news...Judge Rehnquist died. He had the same type of cancer that I did years ago. Pretty scary stuff! I just had my scan so I am good for a few years. Thyroid cancer does not have a 5 year cure rate. It can come back whenever it wants...30 years from now...I could get it again. SUCKS!
I am having a cookout tomorrow....no one will show up. That's the way my cook-outs always turn out. Anna...if you read this before the party....2pm...be there or be square...LOL!
$3.19.....way too much for a gallon of gas. Imagine this folks...I have an SUV...a big one too. My hubby has a large dump truck and a large extended cab diesel truck. He uses the dump for work..he has a lawn care business....he fills up EVERYDAY! About $75.00 worth......I smell a raise in the lawn bills coming...the old people will be mad!
What else? Hmmm...nothing really. I am boring...but if I can't sleep I will be back and I will post about the Pittsburgh show....that was a fun one!
