Extreme Home Makeover

This is right near my house..about 10 minutes away..if that! I think I may try and swing by to see Ty. Maybe I will go to Sears this weekend...LOL!! This is the house before the makeover...of course! I guess it will be on TV in about 6 weeks.

The crowds started gathering early this morning.
And there's a good reason that's bringing out all the curiosity seekers!One of the hottest shows on TV right now is Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, airing every Sunday night on 33.A Boardman family has been chosen to have their house completely re-vamped.
While very exciting, it is a bittersweet occasion.Little Pressley is just 6 months old, safely nestled in her fathers arms, blissfully unaware of all the commotion going on outside her home. And there is a lot about to happen!
The Novak's will be the next family getting an extreme home makeover.
Every Sunday night, Jeff Novak and his wife watched the show. Jackie always said she would do anything to get on the show. In a horrible turn of events, her wish came true.
Jackie Ramirez, Jackie's sister-in-law says, "On Mother's Day they had watched the show together. She went up to bed, the baby was 6 weeks old."Marylou Novak, the grandmother says, "After the birth of Pressley, she never really felt good, and it just happened."
"The baby started to cry. He went upstairs and he thought she was sleeping. He went back upstairs. The second time he went up he realized she wasn't breathing."Incredibly, Jackie had died of a pulmonary embolism.
She left behind a grieving husband and 3 little girls: 5, 2, and 6 weeks. Jeff's eldest daughter and his best friend both wrote letters to the show in an effort to get on.
The simple words of a child's plea had everyone listening."My daddy doesn't have a wife. I don't have a mommy anymore. Me and my sisters could use a new house."
Rick Blair, who wrote letter to ABC says, "I'm just happy for Jeff and for those girls and that's all he wants is to see them smile and have fun."
