Well...I am still here, I haven't disappeared. I have been busy with the kids and all of that stuff...you know how it goes.
I am going to attempt to start my Christmas shopping this week. I doubt that will happen, since the kids won't give me any idea of what they want.
I have actually taken down all of my Lep stuff that was hanging in my office. **GASP** I am sick of looking at it and no one else gives a crap, so why keep it up? I am living in the real world now...not so much into the Leps as I was. There is too much drama in being obsessed. I will be quietly obsessed now. And if they don't change around their set list for the next tour, I will go to the 2 shows around here...and that is it. No more traveling for the same exact setlist. I mean for God's sake...leave out Women, Foolin', Let's Get Rocked, Photograph.....I have seen them 29 times and I have seen Photograph 28. (the one exception was the Today Show). So...I hope Joe Elliott reads this..lol..and knows that he is losing his OLD fans in favor of new fans. I say let the newbies catch up dammit!
I have also been finally getting a grip on myself over Nick's passing. I have been a basket case since August 25. I have cried everyday for him and his family. BUT...now I am better, at least somewhat..lol!! About 3 days or so after he died, I was waiting for my son at karate and was parked kind of up on a hill facing the parking lot of the Plaza. I was next to the building karate is in. I said..out loud..Nick, let me know you are OK so I can help Jen through this. I swear to you..hundreds of those seagull things came over the building from behind me and flew in a circle over the center of the parking lot and then all flew back out the way they came. I was like...hmm...ok. Thanks Nick. Weird huh?
I am going to go and head outside to see what my hubby is doing. I think he is up on the roof of his new garage putting shingles on...he has no idea how to do that...but there he is..:)
Take care..and I will see if I can get some pics of my daughter from the Sadie Hawkins Dance put up. Her and her friends all dressed like the Spice Girls...hahahaha....
